As many of you know, we recently launched our new product platform, Connect: RCP. What you may not know, is that we have some really cool features built-in. One of the features is our patent pending RECE technology.
Connect: RCP’s Real-time Error Check Engine (RECE) was designed from the ground up to catch denials before they happen. The RECE includes CCI edits, diagnosis edits, data checks, anesthesia concurrency checks and payer specific checks. The RECE provides real-time feedback through an intuitive workflow to identify and help charge entry users resolve errors before claims are generated. Errors and warnings are easily identifiable from both the charge batch level as well as the case level.
From the Batch level you can quickly click on an error and the problem case is automatically opened. From the charge level you can see all of the errors and warnings that may cause claim problems and resolve them without leaving the charge page. At any point during charge entry the user can choose to run an error-check to make sure that they have resolved any problems prior to claim generation. Additionally, prior to claim generation a final error check is automatically performed to catch any last minute issues. PPM actively monitors all denied claims and continuously updates the Real-time Error Check Engine with the latest edits.
